Planning education, building the future…
The education of a child would serve as the
foundation to their lifelong learning. Since I
have learned that every child is unique, I believe that there should be a philosophy where
it combines different types of theorists to
make an environment where is safe and free
to learn. Education is a simple word, but analyzing this word is more profound because it
can last forever in their lives of the students.
There will be different philosophies of education in this paper that will be discussed.
Every philosophy perspectives that teachers have chosen for the students it is important because it can depends on their teaching
strengths and effectiveness.
As teachers our primary concern should be the
students and what type of learning environment will be best suited to meet their needs.
There are many different opinions as top what
the most effective or appropriate curriculum
is for the students. I do not believe there is
any one philosophy that can provide the ideal
curriculum for each and every student. Just
as there are numerous methods of teaching,
there are also numerous ways to learn. It is
essential that we keep this in mind as we help
the students achieve their goals and discover
their talents. Above all we must encourage
the students to try new things and do what we
can to prevent limiting them in any way.
I think that many of the schools today merely try to prepare the students to move on to
college and by doing so exclude the students
who are gifted with other abilities that are
equally important and useful in society, even
though those talents may not necessarily be
something that can be refined through a traditional three year college.
As a future teacher, I very strongly believe
that students need to be shown practical applications of the concepts they are taught.
As teachers we need to not just show how to
work through a problem: we need to show
why it works and what it is useful for. Without something to apply the information to
math is nothing more than a stream of numbers and formulas that students memorize
for a specific test and then quickly forget. By
demonstrating specific examples of applications the students will be able to retain some
of the information easier and then adapt what
they learn to other problems they encounter
in the future.
The purpose of education is to prepare the
children of today to be productive citizens
of our world tomorrow. School serves as an
important tool to prepare students to be independent thinkers, to develop skills that will
help them in life and in the end to use these
skills to be productive in their environment
and hopefully change it for the best.

Mumbai: Mumbai Police probing the
threat e-mail case received by actor
Salman Khan have found a British link.
The e-mail ID though which the mail was
sent did not reveal much but it has been
found the mail was linked to a mobile
number based in the UK, according to police sources.
Police are now trying to trace the person
under whose name the number was registered.
Last week, Mumbai Police booked jailed
gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar
and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending
threatening emails to actor Salman Khan's
office. Bandra Police registered a case under sections 506(2),120(b) and 34 of IPC.
Mr Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai police as the
actor is perceived to be under threat. The
Maharashtra state government took this
step after the actor received a threat letter
from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang earlier.
Last year, Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received a death threat. Salim
Khan's security team found the letter outside their Mumbai home near the Bandra
Bandstand promenade, where he goes for
his routine morning jog.
In October last year, Delhi Police made
a sensational revelation in the case pertaining to the alleged plot to kill Salman
Khan. Police said that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang members tried to befriend the
staff of the actor's farmhouse in Mumbai
to ascertain the details about the timings
of his entry and exit.

Woman Who Left AirPods On Plane Tracked Them Down To Airport Worker's Home

A woman recently tracked
down her lost Apple AirPods to an airport worker's
home two weeks after she
first left them behind on a
plane.
Speaking to CNN, Alisabeth Hayden said she was
flying with United Airlines from Tokyo, where
she had been visiting her
husband, to Seattle earlier this month. Shortly
after getting off the plane
on a layover at San Francisco International Airport,
she realised she had left
her jacket behind and her
headphones too.
"I realized before I was
even off the plane," Ms
Hayden said, as per the
outlet. "I was the third
from last off the plane, so
I asked the flight attendant
if I could go and get it. He
said no - I was required
by federal law to get off
the plane and stand beside
it, where the strollers are
brought to. I was tired, he
said he'd bring it to me, I
said OK," she added.
The flight attendant indeed
bring the jacket to her, following which she boarded
her next flight to Seattle. "A
child was screaming next
to me and I thought, 'At
least I have my AirPods,'"
she recalled. However, she
said that when she reached
for her jacket, she realised
her AirPods were gone.
The plane had already taken off to Seattle, but Ms
Hayden used inflight WiFi
to track the earphones using the "Find My" app,
which tracks Apple devices. The headphones were
showing at a cargo terminal at SFO, before moving
to different terminals and
then down Highway 101.
The earplugs ended up at
what appeared to be a residential address in the Bay
Area and stayed put there
for three days. Ms Hayden
marked her headphones as
"lost" on her app, pinging
an alert and her number to
the person who had them.
She told the outlet that she
enlisted the help of a detective at the San Mateo police force who was working at SFO. He matched
the address the AirPods
were pinging from to an
airport contractor working
to load food onto aircraft.
When questioned by the
cops, the airport worker said the headphones
had been given to him
by a cleaner, who denied
knowledge of the situation. When they were returned to Hayden 12 days
later, she said the AirPods
looked like they'd been
stomped on.
She told the outlet that
United Airlines gave her
$271 and 5,000 air miles
after complaining about
the condition of the headphones. The airlines also
confirmed that the worker
was employed by a vendor
and not the airline.
The matter is now being
handled by the San Francisco Airport Police Department, which plans to
submit the case to the San
Mateo District Attorney's
office.

Tornado-Hit US Town "Like A War Zone", Say Volunteers

Rolling Fork, United States: Outside,
houses are torn open and trees lie with
their roots in the air. Inside, stretchers
are lined up in front of tables overflowing with food. In Rolling Fork, Mississippi, where a tornado caused chaos and
death, volunteers are pouring in from surrounding towns to help. The American
Red Cross moved into a National Guard
building less than 24 hours after the tornado struck Friday night, killing at least
25 people in the community of 2,000. An
ambulance is parked at the entrance of
a room being used as an infirmary and,
through the back door, boxes full of cereal bars and baby diapers keep arriving. "We're trying to give people a place
to stay overnight with food and medical
support so they can just have a place to
lay their heads, because they've lost everything," said John Brown, a Red Cross
official for Alabama and Mississippi.
The city is "like a war zone," he said. "It
looks like a bomb went off."
Whether or not residents choose to stay
in the town center, they will at least have
access to information and food and regain
some strength, Brown said.
Anna Krisuta, 43, and her 16-year-old son
Alvaro Llecha sit in the shelter, one on a
stretcher, the other on a chair, electric blue
energy drinks in front of them.
Their house is "in pieces," Anna Krisuta
says, putting on a brave smile.
Both pull out their cell phones to show
the extent of the damage, captured on
video. The pair are not sure whether they
will spend the night at the center. Maybe
they'd prefer to sleep in the car, Alvaro
said, giving his mother a hesitant look.
The teenager said he survived only by
hiding in the bathroom, which he considered was the safest room in their house.
"I thought I was going to die," he said,
recounting the strong wind "rushing in
through the bottom of the door."
Lauren Hoda travelled 70 miles (110 kilometres) from Vicksburg to Rolling Fork
to volunteer. She described the mixture
of sadness, grief and anger she feels at
the "injustice" inflicted on the residents.
"When I woke up this morning, I wanted
to cry for the people of this town because
I don't think they had much time before
(the tornado) came. There were people
eating in restaurants, families in bed," said
the 28-year-old, who also experienced
Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She spent her
Saturday night at Rolling Fork bringing
donations from collection points: water,
food, canned goods, diapers, wipes, medicine, deodorant, and toothpaste.
Jon Gebhardt, an assistant professor of military science at the University of Mississippi, travelled
three hours to Rolling Fork, arriving in the middle of the night to
help set up the center.
"I cried quite a bit today," he said.
"But this morning, when I woke
up and saw the generosity and
ability of this community to come
together at such a difficult time, (I
felt) lucky to be in Mississippi."
He said he was confident in the resilience of the Mississippi Delta.
"Will this community rebuild for
the better and become a better version of itself in the next few years?
Yes, I think so."

'Women's power is playing a

Rahul Gandhi Disqualification: Congress observes day-long 'Satyagraha'; Priyanka Gandhi takes dig at PM Modi

The Grand Old Party has called
for a day-long 'Satyagraha'
across the country on Sunday.
Congress holds 'Satyagraha' in
front of Gandhi statues at all
states and district headquarters to protest against Rahul
Gandhi's disqualification from
Lok Sabha. The satyagraha was
scheduled to begin at 10 AM
today and will conclude at 5 PM.
Leaders attending the 'Satyagraha'
Several Congress leaders including party general secretary Priyanka
Gandhi Vadra, leaders P Chidambaram, Salman Khursheed among
others arrived at Rajghat to participate in protests. Congress president
Mallikarjun Kharge and party general
secretary were staging the satyagraha
at Raj Ghat in the national capital but
they were not allowed permission to
hold the protests there.
Ahankari Raja ko Janta Jawaab Degi
'You (BJP) talk about 'Pariwarvaad',
I want to ask who was Lord Ram?
Was he Pariwarvaadi, or were Pandavas Pariwarvaadi? Should we be
ashamed because my family fought
for the country? My family has nurtured the democracy of this country
with their blood' said Priyanka G
Vadra while taking a dig at PM Modi
over her brother Rahul Gandhi's disqualification. 'My father was insulted
in the Parliament, my brother has
been given names like Meer Jafar.
Your ministers insult my mother in
the Parliament. One of your CM said
Rahul Gandhi does not even know
who his father is, but no action is taken against these people.' She further
said, 'Ahankari raja ko janta jawab
degi.'
Rahul Gandhi's disqualification
Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from
the Lok Sabha on Friday, a day after
a court in Gujarat's Surat convicted
him in a 2019 defamation case. The
disqualification will bar Gandhi (52),
a four-time MP, from contesting polls
for eight years unless a higher court
stays his conviction.
"PM Modi was scared off"
The Congress leader claimed that the
action against him was taken because
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was
"scared" of his next speech in Parliament on the Adani issue and alleged
that the "whole game" was to distract
people from the issue and the panic
the government was feeling over the
matter.
The Congress has said that Rahul
Gandhi is not alone and millions of
Congressmen and people irrespective of their political affiliations will
join him in this fight for truth and
justice. To this end, all Pradesh Congress Committees have been asked
to organise a one-day Satyagraha in
front of Gandhi statues in all State
and District Headquarters from 10
AM to 5 PM on Sunday
